BAYA NEST

This project, BAYA NEST, is built on the base brand, BAYA, aligning with its values and vision. Initially, it investigates the contemporary issues faced by Indian handloom artisanal communities and assesses initiatives taken up by domestic and global organizations to resolve those. Following that, it evaluates the necessary adaptations required by the traditional handloom eco-systems that can enable the artisans to meet modern market demands while preserving the craft’s authenticity.

After a comprehensive analysis, a strategic business framework, ‘BAYA NEST’, is designed as a sister brand of BAYA that focuses on providing support and services to empower the artisans and eventually contributing to the growth and preservation of the Indian handloom sector maintaining its credibility.
