Nothing quite sums up to the power of 'we' like a uniform and nothing quite suppresses the potency of 'I'. With the help of uniforms by making people look alike, they are made to think alike thus creating an 'IDENTITY for a community or organization. Thinking of navy blue as a color the first thought which came to my mind was of the vast blue ocean and the dwellers of the ocean, 'the sailors', come out to me as a communal identity who are sensitive towards the environment and thereby to the people. Their teamwork, discipline, and sacrifice define them.

Today, considering sustainability as an important aspect in designing, I am trying to inculcate recycled/reusable denim as my main fabric and the efforts are to create a couture look with a hint of sporty attitude.
